The following terms and conditions apply for the think.BDPST conference:

1. Guests understand and accept that tickets (also referred to as vouchers) cannot be transferred, exchanged, and refunded. By placing the order, Guests agree that tickets are for personal usage, and may not be resold or transferred. The resale of tickets is prohibited. The Antall József Knowledge Centre (hereinafter: “AJKC”) reserves the right to cancel any tickets that have been resold. 

2. No refund on tickets will be made under any circumstances except in case the event is cancelled and vis maior (including, but not limited to war, revolution, natural disaster, or not foreseeable political events).

3. Guests are asked to present their vouchers in order to receive their badges. Badges can be collected on the spot from 4pm onward on 28 March 2018 and 8am on 29 March 2018.

4. Tickets cannot be collected by third parties without the prior written consent of AJKC.

5. AJKC reserves the right, without refund or compensation, to refuse admission to any person whose conduct is disorderly or unbecoming (including, but not limited to abusive, threatening, drunken, or other behaviour, or making unauthorised audio, video, or photographic recordings).

6. Guests understand and accept that “think.BDPST” is a trademark of AJKC. 

7. Guests understand and accept that no audio or video recording is allowed during the conference unless having the prior written consent of AJKC. Although the event is open for the press, performers and speakers have the right to ask photographers not to take pictures of them. Therefore, guests are kindly asked to refrain from taking pictures. 

8. The conference will receive high publicity, and will be recorded in its entirety. With attending the conference, guests agree to have their image used in promotional photographs or their likeness appear in any live or recorded video display. 

9. AJKC reserves the right to change the programme.

10. AJKC may postpone, cancel, interrupt, or stop the event in case of adverse weather, dangerous situations, or any other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

11. Guests understand and accept that AJKC has the right to conduct discreet health, safety, environmental, and security checks at the conference venues, and may, from time to time, carry out security searches. Prohibited items, including, but not limited to, weapons or dangerous substances are not allowed to be brought to the event, they have to be handed over to the organisers of the conference.

12. Information collected from the registration process shall remain confidential, and shall be used in accordance with the privacy policy of AJKC, which is part of these conditions. 

13. Any complaints regarding the event will be directed to and dealt with by the project manager and the statutory representative of AJKC.

Privacy Policy

The privacy policy applies to information collected from the registration process. Information provided during registration shall remain confidential, and shall not be sold, traded or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. All the information collected will be used for your badge, to process transactions, or to send newsletters. The e-mail address provided by guests during the registration may be used to send updates and notifications regarding to the conference.

Please note that for the purposes of the development and maintenance of the webpage of the event (think.bdpst.org), the web developer of the think.BDPST webpage, WP Online – Creative Digital, may access personal data provided during the registration process (such as name, institution, title, email address,). However, the web developer shall keep confidential all collected data pursuant to the contract concluded by and between them and AJKC.
