Kodály Dialogues by the Central European Dance Theatre
19:00 - 19:40
The first day of the think.BDPST 2018 conference will be closed with the Central Europe Dance Theatre (CEDT) preforming selected parts of the Kodály dialogues directed by Attila Kun.
CEDT will aim to present the most important elements and segments of the Kodály dialogues, a co-production piece performed for the first time in February 2017. In the performance, the mature and sensual interpretation and personal presence of Ditta Rohmann coincides with the choreography that focuses on the bonds of long-lasting human relationships. Another feature of the performance is that, following the music of Kodály, the music of Giovanni Solimma meets the electronic music of sound designer Imre Németh.
About CEDT:
Progressive. Stylish. Contemporary
The Central Europe Dance Theatre (CEDT) is one of Hungary's most innovative contemporary dance companies. Over the past 29 years, nearly 120 premiers have been held by over 50 choreographers in 44 cities of 22 countries, including the United States, Armenia, Finland, and Egypt. CEDT is the first Hungarian dance company in the region that, in addition to its diverse repertoire, uses unique dance / theatre methodology in education, as well as talent care, while also focusing on research and open-minded educational programmes, including the cooperation of Visegrad 4 partners.
