Innovative Ideas in Aeronautics – How Flying Machines Broaden the Way We Think About Mobility

PhD. Bartosz Dziugieł is a Professor Assistant at Institute of Aviation, UAV operator and expert of the Polish State Commission on Aircraft Accidents Investigation. He graduated from the Warsaw University of Technology in 2007. He defended his doctoral dissertation in 2016. His main area of activity includes small aircraft transport, unmanned aerial systems and broadly understood safety in aviation. He is an author and co-author of numerous deliverables, reports, and analyses prepared within the framework of both European (FP & ERDF) and national projects. He participated amongst other in EPATS, SAT-Roadmap, and ASCOS Framework Programme projects. He led works in the ESPOSA project dedicated to Requirements on Geared Turboprop Engine propulsion used in the small size aircraft transport system. Currently, he is working on a safety model for the Small Aircraft Transport System and participates in numerous activities related to research and development of the UAV branch in Poland.
